Overview

Stem Cells and Cellular Therapy International (SCCTI) follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and ethical integrity of published research. All manuscripts are evaluated by independent experts before acceptance.

Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted online only through the journal submission portal:

The corresponding author is responsible for the manuscript throughout submission, peer review, and publication. All co-authors must approve the final version before submission.

Submission Checklist

Before submission, authors must ensure that:

• One author is designated as the Corresponding Author with complete contact details

• The manuscript fits within the Aims and Scope of the journal

• The manuscript is prepared in MS Word format only

• All authors meet ICMJE authorship criteria

• COPE and ICMJE ethical guidelines are followed

• Figures, tables, and keywords are properly included

• The manuscript is spell-checked and grammar-checked

• Ethical approval and informed consent are obtained where applicable

• Permission is obtained for any copyrighted material

Manuscript Preparation (Key Requirements)

Title Page Must Include

• Manuscript title and running title

• Author names and affiliations

• Corresponding author details

• Keywords (3–6, preferably MeSH)

• Word count

• Number of tables and figures

• Conflict of Interest and Funding statements

• Author Contribution statement

• Confirmation of informed consent (if applicable)

Article Types Accepted

• Original Research Articles

• Review Articles / Systematic Reviews / Meta-Analyses

• Clinical Trials

• Case Reports / Case Series

• Short Communications

• Letters to the Editor

• Editorials and Commentaries

Ethical Requirements

• Ethical committee approval is mandatory for human and animal studies

• Informed consent is required for case reports and human studies

• Clinical trials must be registered in a recognized public registry

• All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, including AI-generated content.

• AI-generated content cannot be cited as a primary source

Formatting Guidelines (Essential)

• Submit manuscripts in MS Word (.docx) only

• Use 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced

• Page margins: 1 inch on all sides

• Use italics for scientific names

• Follow Vancouver reference style

• Tables must be created using Word table tools (not Excel)

Figures and Tables

• Upload figures and tables in high resolution (minimum 300 DPI)

• Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, TIFF

• All figures and tables must be cited in the text and include captions

Peer Review and Editorial Decision

• Initial editorial screening

• Double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers

• Editorial decisions: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject

• Average peer-review duration: 8–12 weeks

Author Responsibilities

Authors must declare:

• Funding sources

• Author contributions

• Data availability (if applicable)

• Ethical approval and informed consent
